Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling sessions are offered either as a one-to-one, family, or group setting. Psychotherapy is offered as a one-to-one setting.

Counselling and Psychotherapy offer a range of positive benefits that can improve and enhance your life. All sessions are provided in a confidential setting where you will be encouraged and supported to express yourself freely and without judgement. The emphasis is to assist you in understanding your thoughts and feelings and how they may impact on your behaviour and then learn productive ways to deal with them in a way that is most helpful to you.

Depending on the nature of your referral, you will either be referred for counselling or psychotherapy: Counselling is more likely to help with a specific difficulty, current problem or surface issue. An example might include a bereavement or a difficulty that is not necessarily ingrained in the past. Psychotherapy however is more likely to help with more deep-rooted difficulties that affects a client's life.

·       Depression

·       Anxiety

·       Bipolar disorder

·       Obsessive-compulsive disorder
